Telecommunications Network Technician Course - 15 days

This three week training programme has been designed to assist and prepare you for direct employment into modern broadband and telecommunications organisations. This course will provide you with all the information you need to work effectively in this new and challenging environment.

This course provides you with the fundamental knowledge you will require including:
Complete knowledge and understanding of modern Switching and Data communications Networking – Telephony, Switching, Signalling (SS7/Q.SIG/DASS/DASS2/V5.2), G.711, PDX Configuration, ISDN and more!

A comprehensive “Hands On” approach to the fundamentals of the Internet Protocols suite (TCP/UDP/FTP/PPP), Voice over IP, introducing H.323 and SIP, MPLS, VLAN configuration – where Delegates will understand the workings of IP Protocols through construction Intranets, Internets and Extranets.

In addition, each Delegate will gain a comprehensive understanding of MPLS operation with VPN’s, ATM and Frame Relay Networks, and inter-relationships with BGP operation.
